For ongoing pest prevention most property owners who want to keep pests to a minimum will need some kind of periodic service to cut off pests before they get indoors. Most home owners have found quarterly service to be very effective. We can service both indoors and outdoors, or outdoors only, for those who are sensitive to chemicals. Sometimes, monthly service is necessary, especially in food-service establishments.

Mice & Rats - As with all pest control, some sanitation and/or maintenance practices of the property owner can help with mice and rats. Pet foods, bird and wildlife feed, pet dishes, high grass and dense landscape plantings can all contribute to pest problems. Acenitec will make recommendations for corrections that may help with control. Acenitec will utilize various trapping and pesticidal products, always with safety as the primary consideration. Acenitec can even offer humane traps if requested.

Fleas & Ticks - Fleas and ticks must be controlled inside, outside and on pets. For this reason, your Acenitec service representative will provide a product to treat your pet with these services. This can save you an expensive trip to veterinarian. For both indoor and outdoor treatments, personal items, toys, pet dishes, and anything stored away in carpeted areas (under beds, in walk-in closets, etc.), should be removed to permit treatment access. For outdoor areas, grass should be kept short and clippings should be bagged. Quarterly preventative treatment is usually adequate to prevent recurrences.

Spiders - Because spiders are predatory, it is especially beneficial to enroll in Acenitec's Quarterly Pest Prevention Program to minimize food sources which attract spiders, and keep the spiders themselves to a minimum. It is a good idea for homeowners to try to keep clutter cleaned out as much as possible to reduce potential spider harborage.

Outdoor Areas - Are you planning a garden party, wedding, or other outdoor event? Acenitec offers our "Party Sprays" 24 to 48 hours prior to your event to reduce flies, mosquitoes, gnats and other annoying pests.
