The first time our tech Randy came we didn't see much difference, my sister had interacted with him and left the house because he was rude to her, we were unsure if he stayed and finished the job or just left also. We had to have him come out again because we were seeing MORE roach activity rather than less, we requested a different tech but were told no. This time my brother in law stayed behind to be sure the job was done, because my sister refused to. The second time Randy came out my brother asked him if he was starting inside or outside and said he hadn't planned to do the outside again, my brother told him he preferred it be done, the rest of his second visit went by the same tune.. my brother constantly had to ask him to do specific areas that he was skipping, and he did them but not with out constant push-back and having to go back to his truck and get supplies that he hadn't already brought in because he hadn't planned to do that treatment. We have had 3 visits from Randy now and I am told that his attitude has improved from his initial rudeness. The important part is that the we are seeing substantially less bug activity when my brother supervises our treatments.

Ms. Treece,
I am sorry to take several days to respond to your criticism of our service and service technician; but I wanted to get our customer service and technician's response. First, I want to emphatically state that the prospects for total elimination of your cockroach problem is very slim at best. Apparently, you did not mention the fact that cockroaches were your main problem when you initially called, as "roaches" are not one of the pests included on your initial order.

When we treat for cockroaches there are a number of things that both we and the customer must do to prepare: first, we require that the contents of the kitchen cabinets be emptied out- at least on the initial treatment- to allow us to treat thoroughly in the areas where cockroaches harbor. We cannot see inside your home over the telephone, so we leave it up to the technician to address issues such as clutter and sanitation practices with our customers. Both of these deficiencies were pointed out by our technician. He, also, pointed out that even if all the proper preparation is done, we require monthly service until the cockroaches are eliminated. Due to both clutter and sanitation, some accounts are never completely free of roaches, and become eligible for preventive treatment every three months.

Your technician said that you were accustomed to treatment by another pest control company out of state that did quarterly service (every three months) and offered free re-treatment in between services. He stated that you mentioned this when he told you we require monthly service for cockroach infestations. Rather than becoming confrontational, he relented to your insistence on quarterly service, which, as I have stated, is not realistic.

Having been in pest control for over forty years, I want to assure you that we are using the most effective products to help our customers; but without a cooperative effort, even monthly service will not eliminate cockroaches.

Good service. Our lawn looks much better. But our trees have gotten sprayed a couple of times with weed killer.

Thanks for this valuable feedback. Obviously, there are some materials that we use that are innocuous to trees; but, getting them on trees is not acceptable to us in any case. I have passed your comments on to our Lawn Manager. Thanks for letting us know.
